Detection of Sugar in Urine :-
Glucose is a type of sugar that our body requires and uses for energy. Body converts the carbohydrates we eat into glucose. Having too much glucose in the body can be a sign of a health problem. Ordinarily, glucose (sugar) is absent in normal urine. But when the glucose level in blood exceeds the renal threshold of glucose (160 – 180 mg /dl), glucose starts to appear in urine.
This video explains how to detect the presence of sugar in the given sample of urine.
